This is the eighth of a series of ‘ready mades’, with this term I’m not trying to make an artistic statement, it’s just a way to underline that I haven’t play a huge role in the creation of these pieces, which are just recordings of a sound emitted by a machine.
In this case, the machine is a device from the late eighties that was intended to modify brain waves to relax, relieve stress, etc. The enterprise that built this machine was closed at the beginning of the nineties with a court order. They were accused of misbranded and selling pretended medical devices without the required authorization. Besides, there were attributed epileptic seizures to the use of these machines.

Este es el octavo de una serie de ‘ready mades’, con este término no pretendo hacer ningún tipo de afirmación artística, simplemente es una manera de denotar que yo no he tenido mucho que ver en la realización de estas piezas, ya que simplemente me he limitado a grabar un sonido emitido por una máquina.
En este caso, la máquina en cuestión es un aparato de finales de los años 80 que estaba pensado para alterar las ondas cerebrales con la intención de relajar, aliviar el stress, etc. La empresa que lo fabricaba fue cerrada a principios de los 90 por orden judicial, acusados entre otras cosas de publicidad engañosa y de vender dispositivos supuestamente médicos sin los permisos apropiados. Además, se atribuían a sus aparatos varios casos de ataques de epilepsia.

Un novo traballo no netlabel alg-a
Esta peza forma parte dunha serie de ‘ready mades’. Con este término non pretendo facer ningún tipo de afirmación artística, simplemente é unha maneira de denotar que eu non tiven moito que ver na súa realización, xa que limiteime a rexistra-lo son emitido por unha máquina.
Neste caso, a máquina en cuestión é un aparato de finais dos anos oitenta pensado para alterar as ondas cerebrais coa intención de relaxar, alivia-lo estrés, etc. A empresa que o fabricaba pechou a principios dos noventa por orde xudicial, acusada entre outras cousas de publicidade enganosa e de vender dispositivos supostamente médicos sen os permisos apropiados. Ademáis atribuianse os seus aparatos varios casos de ataques de epilepsia.

This work is part of a ‘ready mades’ series. Using this term I don’t pretend doing any kind of artistic afirmation, it is just a way of denoting that the sound was almost created by itself, in fact, I just recorded sound that was comming from a machine.
EXT[procura interna] is a sound comming from an end 80’s machine that was used to alter the brain waves with the porpose of healing the stress, relaxing, etc… The company which made this machine was closed at the beggining of the 90’s by warrant, declared guilty for doing misleading advertising, and for selling healty products without the proper permissions. Moreover, this machines were attached several epilepsy cases.
